Post A Bible Verse
Most of us have an email account, blogs, Twitter and Facebook. A lot of us use them everyday. If you have a smartphone, you can always check your emails and social network accounts on the go. Yet, with all this technology in our hand today most of us Christians are not taking the advantage to spread God’s word online. In my Facebook stream or Twitter stream rarely do I see professing Christians posting Bible verses or even simple articles like salvation.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you. 2 Thessalonians 3:1
Posting a Bible verse may be a simple task but it is also a way that the word of the Lord may have free course. Better yet, share good Christian articles in your Facebook stream. Sites like Press Toward The Mark, Bible Believers and Chick Publications are just a start. Share also good Christian music. If you have a Christian blog, stream your RSS feed to your stream so friends may see it and may be read it.
Posting a verse takes only seconds yet I believe the impact is greater than we thought. We’ve seen how God blessed street preaching and holding up scripture signs on the streets. There are actual testimonies how people came to know the Lord Jesus Christ by a simple tract. We can do so too in our own little ways of sharing the scriptures to our friends and relatives in Facebook and in Twitter. But this doesn’t mean that we should forsake personal bible studies and witnessing.
